A new genealogy blog

I have hardly enough time to write for my existing blogs, so why would I want to start a new blog?

I have many post ideas that do not fit in the theme my existing blogs. Trace your Dutch roots is not the place to discuss my own roots. My Graveyard Rabbit blog is for cemeteries in Utrecht and Het Gooi, not for cemeteries I might visit during a holiday. There is usually no room on my blogs for carnivals, challenges, memes, or Saturday night fun.

What this blog will be about

The main topic will be my own roots. I expect there will be posts about my ancestors, about the places they lived, about my research, about my genealogical successes and failures.

Roots will also be the place for posts about genealogy or related subjects that do not fit in the Trace your Dutch roots theme, and cemetery posts that do not belong on The Graveyard Rabbit of Utrecht and Het Gooi.

In the next post I will introduce you to my genealogy research.
