Church Sunday: Haarlem
St. Bavo church, Grote Markt, Haarlem. A late-medieval, Gothic church that became a cathedral in 1559. Since 1578 it is a protestant church.
Its 1738 organ, built by Christian Müller, is world famous.

I read about St. Bavo in Corrie ten Boom's book, The Hiding Place. She shared many happy memories of her family worshipping there.
